The Belgrade Arena, also known by its former name Štark Arena, is a multifunctional indoor complex that is rightfully considered Serbia's flagship venue. Designed by architect Vlada Slavica, the stadium cost the city €70 million and opened in 2004.
The arena can host a wide variety of events, including basketball, volleyball, handball, water polo, tennis, and other sports. Its concert infrastructure allows for performances of any format. The hall can seat up to 18,386 in a sports configuration and up to 20,000 for concerts.
The complex is the home arena for two basketball giants, Partizan and Crvena Zvezda, and also regularly hosts matches of the Serbian national team. Among the arena's landmark events are the 2018 and 2022 Euroleague Finals, the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, the 2005 European Basketball Championship, and the 2016 European Water Polo Championship Final, which set a world attendance record.
The arena is located on Arsenija Čarnojevića Boulevard in Novi Beograd. Convenient transportation links and parking areas are nearby. Visitors appreciate the excellent visibility from any sector and the well-thought-out logistics for large-scale events.
