Rico Verhoeven, known as "The King of Kickboxing," is a name that commands admiration and respect in the martial arts world. He is a Dutch heavyweight kickboxer with an incredible career and impressive achievements. Rico began his martial arts journey under his father's guidance from an early age, and his career has since skyrocketed.
Since turning professional in 2004, Verhoeven has competed in prestigious tournaments such as K-1, SUPERKOMBAT, and Glory. His legendary fights have earned him numerous victories, including title fights and records in the Glory league: longest championship reign - 4,220 days, most wins - 28, and longest winning streak - 27 fights.
In addition to dominating the kickboxing scene, Verhoeven has also successfully tried his hand at MMA and boxing. In 2015, he won by knockout over Viktor Bogutsky at the RXF tournament, and a year earlier, he knocked out Janos Finfera in a boxing match.
