The long-awaited rematch between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usyk will take place in December

Oleksandr Usyk is known for his victories over such famous fighters as Dereck Chisora, Anthony Joshua twice and Daniel Dubois. In May of this year, he scored an impressive victory over Tyson Fury. After that fight, Fury was eager for a rematch, hoping to get the better of his opponent. Being bigger and stronger, Fury dominated the first half of their meeting, but Usyk changed the course of the fight with a powerful attack in the ninth round, causing the “Gypsy King” to stagger and fall. This victory allowed Usyk to enter boxing history, becoming one of the few who achieved undisputed status in two weight classes in the four-belt era.

Tyson Fury, who comes from a family of boxers, began his career at a young age. At the age of ten, he took up boxing seriously under the guidance of his father. He became the EU Junior Champion in 2007 and the ABA National Championship in 2008 before turning professional at the age of 20. He has been a two-time world heavyweight champion and is undefeated in 35 professional fights, with the exception of a draw with Deontay Wilder and a loss to Usyk. He has over 11 million followers on social media and is the subject of a Netflix docuseries about his life outside the ring, which has been renewed for a second season after its debut in 2023.
