The International Pro Combat Sambo Tournament "Fatherland for Victory" in the Bolshoy Sports Palace is a spectacular sports show with the participation of international-level fighters in professional combat sambo. The event will feature 12 professional world-class fights in the octagon according to the Pro combat sambo rules. The tournament participants are international masters, honored masters of sports, world, European, Asian and Asian Games champions in sport and combat sambo, as well as current world and European champions among professionals.
One of the key events of the evening will be the fight between Russian Ivan Lozhkin and the famous fighter from Tajikistan Kishvar Khudoerov. Pro combat sambo tournaments are held in an octagon with a wrestling surface, protected by soft protectors along the perimeter of the fighting area fence. Pro combat sambo techniques include elements of amateur combat sambo, but the fighters' equipment does not include helmets and ankle pads. Title fights are held in the format of 5 rounds of 3 minutes, which ensures high dynamics and spectacularity of the fights.
Professional combat sambo fights are comparable in their spectacularity to MMA, but due to the possible capture of fighters' clothing, the arsenal of throws in Pro combat sambo is much wider.
